Seasonality & Weather
-
Each season at Hotel Bardo brings its own rhythm, rituals, and rare delights.
Spring is when Savannah bursts into bloom—ideal for garden strolls, bike rides through historic neighborhoods on our complimentary Bardo bikes, and alfresco brunches on the patio at Saint Bibiana. Wellness classes often move outdoors to the poolside lawn, and afternoon tea in the Courtyard is best enjoyed. For a breezy adventure, hop into our Bardo Moke for a ride around Forsyth Park or a scenic loop through downtown.
Summer is for making a splash—lounging poolside at Bar Bibi, enjoying family-friendly programming, and catching evening movie nights under the stars. Expect live music by the pool, kid-friendly events, and seasonal menu debuts, including fresh summer cocktails and light bites at Bar Bibi.
Fall brings cooler temps and rich cultural programming, including live music at Club Bardo, mahjong and game nights, and seasonal culinary classes in our cooking school. It’s also the perfect time to unwind in the infrared sauna at Saltgrass.
In winter, Bardo transforms into a festive and restorative retreat. Cozy up with holiday tea in the Courtyard, made comfortable with heaters and soft blankets, or indulge in seasonal spa rituals at Saltgrass. Evenings are perfect for intimate dinners at Saint Bibiana, where seasonal ingredients take center stage.
-
At Hotel Bardo, outdoor dining is a core part of the experience, especially in spring, summer, and fall, when Savannah’s weather invites long lunches and sunset cocktails alfresco. Guests can choose from several open-air settings: Bar Bibi’s poolside terrace, the lush Courtyard, the patio at Saint Bibiana, or the Club Bardo terrace, each offering a distinct vibe and view. During winter, heaters and throw blankets transform the Courtyard into a welcoming space for cocktails or holiday afternoon tea. The terraces at Club Bardo and Saint Bibiana are also equipped with heaters, ensuring that guests can enjoy the outdoor ambiance year-round, without sacrificing comfort.
